Our Inspiration
Oscar & Banks Company is a family business that creates, manufactures, and distributes healthy topping sauces for household dogs. In 2015 the first products were made for the owner's family dogs, who refused to eat dry dog food and regularly got ill from some of the human food provided.
With the help of multiple dog owners' focus group studies, and support from Ph.D. pet nutritionists and veterinarians, the family started to learn about the US dog community's lack of nutrition, vitamins, and mineral intake. For that reason, a dog's health and life expectancy have significantly decreased. After identifying the need to enhance all dry dog food varieties sold in the USA and worldwide, Oscar & Banks Company was born. The first task was to develop flavored products rich in nutrition, vitamins, and minerals without preservatives to enhance and recharge the dog's daily health.
Also, like other dog owners in the United States, we feed our dogs dry food from a good brand every day. Unfortunately, one of our dogs got sick internally and suffered for months before dying too early. After talking to the professionals, our dog's sickness was due to a lack of good nutrition and minerals. Sadly, there is a low nutritional standard for dog food in the USA and worldwide. Our family is on a mission to change that and enhance all dogs' daily health.
